Hasn’t Favre been teetering on the retirement bandwagon for like 10 years? Now, he is going to talk with the Minnesota Vikings. According to his agent, Favre has not intention of coming out of retirement … I can smell the BS from here. Anyway, back on point. Dinner with Brad Childress and chit-chat, more talk tomorrow. If there is a plan worked up for the next two days, that doesn’t scream of being a friendly ‘how ya doin?’, shoot-the-shit, kind of situation. Brett wants revenge on Green Bay, for spanking his ego last year and he thinks two meetings against them in 2009 will heal his wounds.
It’s sad. Every year, we watch the soap opera of will he or won’t he. I say, get the hell off my TV, head back home and enjoy your golden years. The Chicago Bears have the 25 year old Pro Bowl quarterback (My god, how strange does THAT sound?), let them enjoy the QB limelight for a change. Go sign a one day contract with the Packers, retire with the green and gold on and just go away!
